Think I've sussed it, they appear to be 1/2" tap connectors basically.
Right, normal sink tap connectors won't work it seems as the bsp part needs to be a 'flat end', at least when you reach the DI's which are 3/4" flat end. This seems to rule out using 15mm standard plastic pipe. So, what size pipe are people using who are plumbing their systems with plastic/push fit?
There are two types of JG to 3/4" bsp male.https://www.jtmplumbing.co.uk/john-guest-speedfit-c432/john-guest-speedfit-fittings-c167/john-guest-speedfit-jg-speedfit-female-coupler-tap-connector-p3235Andhttps://www.jtmplumbing.co.uk/john-guest-speedfit-c432/john-guest-speedfit-fittings-c167/john-guest-speedfit-straight-tap-connector-p3240If the brass one doesn't fit the other one should. If not, then get a couple of these: https://www.plasticpipeshop.co.uk/34-Threaded-BSP-PVC-Socket-Coupler_p_854.html?gclid=CjwKCAjwpMOIBhBAEiwAy5M6YJbHEoFVxDVZl65OXPCK6tnB42aHg8tos5p4VZ2Bq3HevX9cMEWRUBoCFVIQAvD_BwEAnd a couple of thesehttps://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/144087864738?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-134428-41853-0&mkcid=2&itemid=144087864738&targetid=1280824613978&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9045804&poi=&campaignid=12125451065&mkgroupid=122721231597&rlsatarget=pla-1280824613978&abcId=9300480&merchantid=101774645&gclid=CjwKCAjwpMOIBhBAEiwAy5M6YKfJoWbWzjWY4oJVeZmOBnNyapbW5KGms3HWNmK5P8vvmSVVmuVI3RoCXmcQAvD_BwEVinEDIT: Just noted you said 1/2" BSP not 3/4". All the bits come in 1/2".
I'm pretty certain from memory that you can use the non-brass version above and pop the washer from a 3/4" tap connector in there to overcome the problem you highlight.I'm changing something that uses one of those connectors so I'll take a look later.Vin
Just to confirm it all works perfectly. There is no requirement to use 1/2" hose or even 15mm from tank through to reel IMO.👍

What size hose are you using there ? Can you send a link for the jg fittings ??
Thanks when I change van I may swap over to thisSo absolutely no flow loss with the smaller hose ?
