thunderstorms!

ive never seen thunderstorms like it this afternoon in this country!so much energy in the atmosphere,fork lightening every few mins for hours with very heavy torrential downpours...i must of wasted at least 45 mins dodging the heavy ones....

all work completed though....im going away on friday for the weekend so want to make sure i get all my work up to date by tomorrow afternoon! ;D

When thunder & lightning around even if it's not raining it's time to call it a day. Carbon fibre poles are good electrical conductors. Sacked it early Monday afternoon owing to lightning nearby.

He’s right about the poles, I wouldn’t use one in the thunder and lightening……
I was pressure washing and sacked it off due to lightening bolting around the sky, am not being struck for no one, it’s a one way ticket to no were……

Recently up in blackpool a young kid was killed by lightening while he was playing football so it happens

as long as your not waving the pole about at 25 ft in a field you ll be fine! ;D

Got caught in the middle of an electrical storm this afternoon, absolutely crapped myself, really not a pleasant experience at all.

i quite enjoyed it in a strange way but i was surrounded by houses cleaning estate work and taking shelter in customers porches/garages when it got too bad....i was glad to finish though!ive never known  thunder and lightening like it! :o

I work in lite rain heavy drizzle on domestic but some people don't like it ,i just lay it on thick make out im skint  ;D as for thunderstorm i wouldn't turn up and start in the pouring rain ect but before and after i don't see a problem

If you didn’t work before and after we’d never get anything done at all but like you I never turn up in the rain and start cleaning,plenty of places to park up and wait for it to stop.
