Daz, i got one of those tower fans from amazon a few months back.  It defo helps to keep a bit cooler at home.  Much more of this heat though and i might even fork out for an A/C Unit!  I cant stand the heat i have a heart condition and it just makes it way worse, need to keep cool.  Bring on winter  ;D ;D ;D

Since my second covid shot I've been having great difficulty In controlling my temperature.
It seems I'm not alone either.
I don't normally have a problem but it seems that no amount of factor 50, hat and water is working.

You wait til you’re sat too close to the TV.

Hasn’t been too bad really. On a big college all week, will have the outsides boxed off by lunchtime tomorrow then 2.5 days on the inns. Record week and most likely a record month  ;D ;D

2 and a half days cleaning insides windows in this weather?that's stuff of nightmares to me!😄👍

All the buildings are air conditioned mate, I’ll be nice and cool at 19° whilst you’re sweating your nadgers off at 30°+.

I've been handling heat better this year. I'm not crediting it to the vaccine. Just a wider brimmed white hat. 👍

I found I was feeling the cold more after my second jab 🤔

Temperature in my van hit 37.5 for a brief moment yesterday.

It's a weird one this.

After the first jab, I was rough for about 2-3 days with chills, fever and exhaustion. By day 9 it had worn off and on Day 10 I walked 8 miles with no issue and was fine thereafter.

The second jab took over a month before the feelings of exhaustion and overheating started to fade.

Thought it was just a personal oddity but I ran into a friend who, due to Raynard's Syndrome, spends most of the year wrapped in a thick coat and then June-August on the beach in a bikini soaking up the sun.

She's said that following her 2nd jab she's had the same problem and been unable to spend any time out in the heat as it's making her ill. She's about the last person on Earth I'd have thought would have that problem.

The air con is on in probably 75% of all the buildings. There’s loads of work going on, carpet fitters, new computers being delivered, LED lights being fitted etc etc.

It’s been delightful being able to stand under a aircon unit blasting out cold air. Good money on the job too, that’ll do for me.

Lol you are lucky we only do a small number of schools but do do a number of very large university accommodation blocks and lecture rooms always stiflingly hot and the air con isn’t allowed to be turned on !!!!!!!

Im so glad the clouds came and cooled us poor outdoor workers down. The sun was incessant and at my age the break in heat was very welcome.  My ideal work temperature 10 degrees c to 20 degrees c. Pretty much half of the year so can cover a lot of ground comfortably

Cant wait for the rain, it was unbearable last week.

Windows should be shut, gardens empty and customer inside.
Bring on the rain  ;D

Rain? Nah nah nah.

A nice 21c with some light cloud cover is perfect  ;D

I do also prefer customers to be out, so much quicker that way!

I was lucky enough to be in Madeira for two weeks though my employee was still out working in that heat. He complained so I suggested that he started earlier and finished earlier. Happy days
