Everyone’s experience will be different due to water quality I can get 18 months out of one but have low TDS , I have friends that change them monthly . To be honest it’s far more cost effective to have a di vessel works out a fraction of the price .

Hi , sorry , to be clear I meant when used after an RO to polish off , likely around ten to 15 ppm at most .

Anybody know how many litres of resin they hold ?

They hold around 7 ltr , and again it will depend what your TDS coming out of the ro is mines 001-002  so it would last ages .

Is that the Ionics RO ?

Only ask as I’m thinking of going back to filters on the van .
I have a pro6 but want to use the newer filters as on the v4 .

I had an Ionics ro that came with the van and it was still producing pure to a low TDS with green algae inside the housing ,  seemed to be a very good quality membrane .

It’s a long storey , I did originally use the ionics filters , but have now altered the filtration , I use the ionics carbon sediment , 5 micron , and water softener , but the ros I have changed  to film tech and have a 20 ltr resin vessel works really well and I change the resin ones per year and produce at least 1000 ltr of pure 5 days a week sometimes 3-4000 ltr per day much more cost effective .

Ionics ro filters that are disposable are a load of rubbish and cost around £600 if I remember correctly , when they used the 4040 champ housing one they were good .

Yes it’s filmtech twin ros 4040 they are excellent I have filtration in all my vans as we work all over the country and need to fill up whilst working away , also have 800 ltr booster pump and find this very good it will produce 1000 ltr of pure in 2 hours
