Wool carpet

Afternoon guys , Just after a little advice please. Have a job coming up tomorrow on a wool carpet the first one I have done, just wondering which is the best way to approach it. I have the following cleaning solutions. Prochem double clean. Fabric fibre rinse. Spm prespray and traffic clean. I’m thinking pre spray with traffic clean on the dirtiest areas and fibre rinse in machine after?
Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks 😊

If your traffic lane pre spray is no higher than pH 9 you should be fine. If it’s higher than 9 then it’s still the best option given the selection you have, but not ideal. Do a dye test first.

SPM, brush in, minimum 10 minutes for it to work then rinse with B109 to neutralise.

I wouldn’t personally choose to use SPM on wool at pH12.

Anything over ph 9 can cause yellowing of the carpet. If you use high ph I wouldn’t brush in or leave it on the carpet for more than a few seconds.

I use Prochems Pre Spray Gold. Never had any issue with it. Cleans the carpet really well, with a nice mild clean smell!
