Ahoy there
I've been asked to have a go at a hall carpet ,which has dog wee odour .
The carpet was cleaned by someone else about a year ago before they moved in but have been living with this smell.
Any ideas on getting rid of this smell ? I was thinking on the lines of re cleaning then acid rinse
Any ideas ??
thanks

Check if it's not penetrated through to the underlay , if so the underlay will need replacing that's if any is fitted in the first place

Two solutions can solve your problem
1. Air purifier
2. Ozone generator
Pay attention to the difference between these two things. The principle is to use the oxidizing property of ozone to remove odors, such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide. The difference is that the ozone machine only produces ozone, and the air purifier produces very little ozone. Choose the right model, according to your space

Hi, it's like an expensive item, if you have to ask you shouldn't touch it. You could cause lots of problems for the customer and yourself. Get the training first, then tackle difficult jobs like urine.
Take care, David.

Forget all the magic potions that people recommend you use. There is only one way to get rid of the odour. Lift the carpet to find out what youre dealing with, you might find urine staining all over the underlay or padding. No amount of cleaning will solve this problem, renew the underlay. The carpet may be flood cleaned with appropriate chemicals if not too contaminated, otherwise again renew. This is the only appropriate way to rid the odour as recommended by industry standards.
