Conservatory roof clean
« on: June 22, 2021, 04:59:18 pm »
A window cleaning customer recommended me to a couple who have just moved into their new home and asked if I could clean their conservatory which I did today.
I did suggest they try a WFP window cleaner but they were insistent on using me.
I am a trad window cleaner so used my Gardiner pole and brush and connected to the customers outside tap.
The conservatory is about 5 years old and I noticed some drips on the floor after cleaning the roof.
The customer said not to worry but I was concerned as I have cleaned maybe 20 conservatory roofs before and never had a leak inside. I had the pressure of the tap turned fairly low.
I am guessing the water got in under the finial where I was trying to get rid of all the dust and cobwebs. No leaks when I gave the roof another go.

Just wondered if any of you have had similar issues.
