Hi guys I am looking to start up my own business and I was wondering if this was the right place to ask for a established carpet cleaner if I could shadow .

Steve

Thank you very much for your offer I really appreciate it but Coventry is a bit to far I think.

Its only about 1.5 hours away.

If you change your mind the offer is there.

You'll never know what you don't know and how much it will cost you in the future as a result of not taking up Steve's offer Francis.
Having already been in the industry for ten years I travelled 2 hours to spend a day with Steve before buying my first TM some twenty plus years ago. You'd pick up and take in tons of stuff you just don't get on a training course. I mentioned this thread to an old friend in the business (who did all the carpets & floors on How clean is your house TV series for years so somewhat a veteran like me). He laughed and said "if Steve charged them two hundred quid to spend the day with him it'd be worth it, wouldn't it?"
With a half smile & raising of an eye brow I just said "there you go".

Isnt Texatherm in western super mare that’s a fair way .

I think dismissing Steve’s offer may in hind sight be a mistake you really can’t beat a experienced operator giving you a truthful insight into the game .

I travels from Penzance to clumpton in Devon (2 hours ) for a day with a operater best thing I ever did .

Don’t forget all suppliers have a vested interest in selling their systems
