Switch the tap off when you’ve done your last job.
Just remember to open the tap once you’ve filled your van up.
Why don't you have a quick google before making stupid comments?

I didn't have a tap  on my tank outlet for years on my old van and never had a problem like this. I'm suggesting that you have a very small air leak between the tank outlet and the pump on the suction side.

First thing in the morning before you leave, pull out about 5m of hose and lay your pole on the floor.  Turn the water on (so it should flow from your brush) and leave it. You will see and hear the pump trying to pull the water through. After about 15 seconds the excess air should clear and you will have a good flow from the brush.
