Because the resin comes from Pakistan and you have family here does that mean they bring it here as hand luggage?

Slacky your profile picture reminds me of something funny I saw in the barber shop the other day  ;D

A Turkish barber shop by any chance?

Pretty sure Haz is legit in terms of having multiple vans. I remember seeing his posts on the other forum, think hes up north east way.

And yes he does come across as a Del-boy type  ;D

As for the resin ive no idea

To quote a post from Doug Atkinson (Daqua)

"MB-115 is a 60/40 resin and MB-111 a 50/50 resin mix of Cation/ Anion. Depending on water quality some may find MB-111 or perform well if your water structure is closer to MB-111.

Purolite MB-400 is 60/40 mix but is a lot higher priced. Some have found this under performs MB-115 and some find it works for them."

Guess only way to find out is try it.

Any chance of behaving with a bit more decorum please.

Thanks.

Hello Haz,

Any chance of behaving with a bit more decorum please.

Thanks.

Tell @spruce to stop judging my product without even seeing/using it , maybe if he wasnt so evil eyed then this would not be a problem mate??

I mean the guy should of asked for a sample but nooo he cant stand my presence... in his years of living hes seen that the taxis have been taken over by us... the corner shops.. the takeaways etc , the window cleaning scene in his area is going down the same route as the above now the UK resin scene is going down that route aswell

The guy lives local to me and he obviously cant stand my presence in the window cleaning industry so thats his own problem not my problem

That’s difference between you and us, we would never go to another country and speak like that.

Perhaps that’s why you all come over here. To run away from the disrespectful attitudes. Only to continue in here in the U.K.

You’re not doing yourself any favours.  No one on here is going to buy anything from you with a disgusting attitude like that.

Hi Haz,
personally I don't buy resin myself as I buy my pure water from a unit, however

reading through all the threads it appears to me that instead of promoting your resin business you appear to be going in the opposite direction and alienating yourself from potential customers?

you need to re-think about the way you promote  your business because this is clearly not working for you

The problem is Haz that you have reacted quickly to criticism and come back with a comment about not wanting an Asian lad to succeed.

Now I don't know about what has gone on locally to you and between you and another poster local to you but you have drawn that inference about your race/nationality before anyone else mentioned it.

Down here in Bristol, Asians run four of the local rank of six shops near me. Good luck to them as all I see is a hard work ethic over long hours presented politely and professionally.  My neighbour is from Bulgaria and runs a facilities company. Opposite is a Romanian vet.

We all get on fine and they are all younger than me. Don't rise to the bait and don't see ghosts which may not be there.

Haz, just because other people are not supporting you it doesn't mean you should reply in a non professional way. The best approach is to let your product do the talking. By this I mean you have extensively tested your resin against others and, in your tests yours is better? I don't have a problem with that as a statement but the way to get people on board is to prove you are right.
Maybe post what tests you have carried out and what the results were i.e. you tds going in, tds, out flow rate, pressure, volume of resin vessel, and show the tds output curves vs volume.

The bottom line is everyone who uses resin wants the cheapest resin cost per 1000 litres that gives them 0 tds. If you can show that  yours is cheaper using data and keep your interactions professional no matter what you think of others replies then I am sure you will make a fortune.

If people want to use me they can if not they dont have to mate , i got a few aquarium contracts lined up and a few pure water sites already..  @spruce is out of order and we have history if u read the posts properly.

If someones trying to knock me down i will defend myself

defend yourself by all means MATE, but do it in a professional manner and don't get so aggresive

Just to let you know Haz, based only on your bewildering responses on this thread..... there's more chance of you catching viral gout than me ever purchasing resin from you! I'm out! Innit.😎

Yes i totally 100% agree in what you are saying but Spruce clearly knows hnow i am and hes clearly done this to get my reaction out of me and its clearly worked   ;D but at the end of the day i got a personal problem with him and i shouldnt be showing it on a forum yes i understand but it is what it is.

Ive done my tests and this resin does last longer, im not going by measurements but once people go through 1 bag they will 100% want more :)
As an engineer I do like numbers. If you had data - independently tested data that showed your resin lasted say 10% longer than 'the leading brands' then that is a massive selling point, huge. It also is a great way to prove the doubters wrong. Scientific proof of something by an independent test body is unbeatable.
Look at the Fairy liquid adverts - 'lasts 50% longer than any other brand'. Persil complained to Advertising Standards and Fairy's  claim was proven,  just look at the good publicity they got!!!

Good luck and stay professional, that will help you so much, rise above.

Yes, it’s all Spuce’s fault.
I hate the way he is so knowledgeable, happy to share and explain things as he sees them.
Shocking.

Interesting thread and some eye opening responses ...

To Haz - thats great you have brought a new product to market - I haven't looked at resin for a few years but back then I was informed by several suppliers that MB400 was not the one to go for when using to polish of water - now you "claim" its better than everyone else's product and tested it - can you put up some figures for comparison please

If I purchased a bag of your resin and had a problem with delivery, or perhaps a problem with the product, I feel I already know the response i'm going to get if I complained!
It does put me off a bit!

This is what he written about me...

However,  IMO that's easy for us to say as we are white people. This chap isn't and race prejudice is still a real issue in this area, even although he talks with a Teesside accent.

So he will be 'forced' to  try different marketing techniques that don't make sense to us as the accepted race.
