Hi,
I use an 0845 number.
The reason is down to the area I cover. As for cost, it's free, the customer pays for the call of which BT give the host company a percentage. It costs the customer no more either, they just pay the standard local rate from the area they dial from.
Look on the internet and there are lots of companies offering this facility.
Regards,

Thanks for the replys fellas,
Trev I notice on your website that you have the 0845 and your area code on the same number, is this because its possible to ring both and get through to the same phone.
Look foward to your reply
Many Thanks

Hi ProPole,
Yes they can ring both and it will take them to our office.
Best wishes,

We use an 0800 number which goes through to a works mobile.
It doesn't cost much as the 0800 number itself is purchased but what does cost is having the calls transfered from that to a works mobile.
I don't know if we benifit from it or not but it looks good on the side of the van.

I use an 0845 number from resource utilities minimum charge is £1 per month and all calls are diverted to my mobile.
The customer pays the local rate and i pay the price to get diverted to a mobile.
Thinks its about 13p per minute i pay but varies depending on network
I now use this number so i can keep home and work seperate and didn't want a mobile number on my van.
