Gutter vac rigid neck ???
« on: May 17, 2021, 04:55:22 pm »
Bought a gutter sucker junior to save on using the ladders. Have seen they do the rigid neck which would be great as the silicone angle bends.

Only problem is that it's about 40% of the price of the entire kit (machine, poles and bits come to 560).

Has anyone bought the rigid neck or used one ? Any thoughts?

Nice to see you JP

Was only talking about you the other day Tony. I still have that white gardiner brush you gave me 8/9 years ago. Still in use 👍

Streamline do one but the price now is about £100

Grippa used to do them at about £60 - but that was a few years back and of course they may not be in stock ! ::)roll

Mate of mine has one with mixed feelings.
Good for hammering down on crud to break it up, but he likes the slight flexibility of the blue silicon neck, so you can manipulate the end tool under tiles etc. I think for him, it's the silicon neck, unless he needs to get tough on something.
He's got a good gutter vac as well.
And if he thinks there's a problem, he'll take ladders.

Have to remember that the end tools that came/comes with the blue flexi neck won't fit the carbon rigid neck so it's a case of having to replace these also.
