Is there a specific vaccum or method for cleaning dust from the likes of walls. My local golf club have asked me about cleaning dust from 2 storey foyer after small construction job which will take place there. Would my gutter vaccum be something that could be used or what method would someone employ. I do bit of work for them so any advice much appreciated . Thanks

Agree.

What I also found was that my vacuum cleaner just came with a foam filter. This foam filter works well for sucking up  wet gutter contents but not for dry contents.

I ordered a wet and dry additional cartridge filter as well as dust collection bags.

a bit confused guys - no filter used when sucking out gutters - the "canvass" filter bag is only used for internal dust work

If your going to clean dust get yourself a brush that fits on the end of the pole to agitate the dust - this helps it suck up quicker
sometime its also better to manually brush walls and beams using the Unger "Bog brush" these are excellent then hoover the floor

Thanks very much for advice lads . Ive a few bits and bobs from either my 1st vaccum or one I currently have and have just messed around with them tonight there and I think I can connect them to my gutter vac poles for what is a once off job. What you think of this Its not a cost issue of the kit really its just a complete once off of a job of this type . Do you think brushes attached and set up sufficient ?
