Hi
not really ,mate door knockers or round builders will charge you twice the amount they get you plus some expences so £2000 will get you £1000 worh of work at say £150 per day will give you 6 days per month but if you where to raise £2000 your bank would probably lend you the other £2000.00 to get 12 days and you would have to work up your round remember though once self employed your goss is not all yours there will be expences out of that make sure you can live no use jumping from the pan into the fire
If you buy a round you will pay 3 or 4 times the monthly amount so you will only be able to buy £500-£650 worth of work.
look at it carefuly make a plan within you limits remeber lost days ect due to wearther or illness
best time to start on your own full time is the start of summer for a good run no holiday untill the following year build up you reserves of cash as fast as you can best of luck and give a good service then you will keep your customers
best regards grant
