Got fed up of getting home and having nowhere nice to sit and chill with a beer .
However, since Covid it’s been damn hard to get hold of anything anywhere , everyone was out of stock of everything 

But in true P@F stylee I decided to DIY it , even that proved hard I couldn’t get sand chippings wood a lot of the time !

But it’s done at last , all home made slabs , fences , gate , seating , even the flower pots 

Now time to get that beer in before I start on the back garden

I couldn’t sit down for long though , I have already started on the back , just ripped the pergola down and heightened the fence ready for the retractable hot tub shelter to span between the shed and connie

i used to be a landscape gardener....its a lot harder work than mincing around with a water fed pole.....richy is pushing 50 too(like myself)so i dont think its a realistic option!

When I took the old slabs up I found that the old patio was laid onto 25mm of sand , it should have been at least 100mm of sub base under there, I ended up digging about 40 bags of mud out to be able to lay a decent foundation in before I could even start
That’s why the Astro lawn is raised , the stuff had to go somewhere plus tips where I am charge £2.50 per bag of soil to dump
