No idea but I do know that people I’ve so looked to hate the new HD reel someone told me they don’t do them anymore which IMO is a bad move, the HD metal ones are brilliant you just have to be careful so the hose doesn’t go over the side.

Waterworks and PF reels are 12v DC not sure about the wattage - would depend on the motor - HTH a little

I'm sure the earlier Waterworks sprocket driver motors were 24v 250w, then 300w and then 350w.

Run on 12v they produced half the speed and half the torque.  OHMS' law says that when the voltage drops the amps increase. A 24v 250w motor will draw 10.5amps.

I had a feeling Waterworks fitted a 25 amp fuse. If the 24v motor didn't draw more amps at 12v then they wouldn't need a 25amp fuse would they?

Ive got a Grippa reel and when i had a problem with the gearing, i took it to bits. Their  electric motor was 12v .  But its gear driven , no chain.

There are 12v motors out there, but they are expensive compared to those 24v scooter motors Waterworks used on their first electric reels.
As far as I'm aware Hannay electric reels use a 12v motor.

I'm not sure what Waterworks now uses on their latest variant electric reel. The spare part motor shown on their website has a 12v sticker on it, but that doesn't mean it's not 24v.
