So basically I'm putting out around 4k a week of gutter lefflets while a sub out my window cleaning round all is going well until I get a call this morning asking if I normally knock an canvas or if I just put a lefflet in the letter box's . I said I use a lefflet distributor who just pops it through the letterbox in which she went on to explain what had happened . This was her text to me latter .......
Hi sorry I didn’t ask your name,
I’m sure it was last Monday, early afternoon a guy knocked on my door asking if I wanted my gutters cleaning as there was plant life growing out of them. He had a lanyard around his neck, advertising his company, Swish, he offered to do it for £35 instead of the £39 stated on his lanyard. I asked him how he would do it, he reassured me that he wouldn’t be standing on the extension roof as he was not allowed to do this as it is not safe, he said that he had the poles to do it. He had some poles in his hand and only a rucksack on his back. He told me all he needed was a carrier bag from me to put the rubbish in. I agreed to it and he started to screw the poles together, I went back into the house. Not long after he rang the bell to say he was done, the plant life was no longer visible( with hind sight I think he probably used the poles to push it down out of sight.) I could see there was barely anything in the tied up carrier which he threw in my bin. I asked for his card, he said he would put one back through my door in a minute with a receipt. By now I knew I had been ripped off but did not feel comfortable challenging the guy. I payed him and he walked off down the road. After he left I looked in the bag there was just a pile of dry leaves that he’d picked up off my drive.

My flyer says gutters cleard from £39 and He's basically cut half of it off so you can only see my company name an the start from price . Then He's not doing any work at all an just taking the money off vulnerable people .
A couple of days later she received my flyer through the letterbox an recognised my logo which was around his bloody neck laminate on a lanyard . Lucky for me she decided to call me to tell me . I then went and cleard her gutters for free today to say thank you for making me aware .
I just don't know what to do now as if he carries on people might start leaving bad reviews on my website .🤦♂️
