Hi been using the above  hose on a reel and never had problems with it ! I know its not to be used on a reel and warranty will be invalidated . Got new hose and it went onto reel brand new pump controller and battery  just kept dead ending  even with nothing on the end  off the hose   tried my old hose  on new set up and it was fine   . Now got hose still wrapped up and it won't work either  have tried  changing the cal up and down to no effect ? Pumps fine from machine through small hose fires the water about 36 inches and the flow changes when turning up or down ,But when I connect to the new reel still rolled up it just trickles about 6 inches even on 99  ,I am very confused ,  100 psi shurflo  pump.  Help.

Uncoil the hose and lay it out straight. Then fill a barrel with hot water (just less than 60 degrees at that's the most a Shurflo pump will handle) and 'flush' the hose. When its hot switch off the tap and the other end and when the hose is pressurized, leave it for a while under pressure.

I'd be pretty sure there is a 'kink' in the hose as it would be hot when reeled up after manufacture. 

A WFP pump will never pump water through the pole hose at the rate you are expecting. It's always going to be slower at the other end as there is a restriction in the hose. The faster you try to push water through it the slower it will flow. In fact, you might even find it flows faster if you reduce the flow on the controller.

These threads were all about the difference between minibore and microbore. Pole hose is 5mm internal diameter so even worse.

Have a look further into the thread toward the end. Ian Sheppard from Spring has added some excellent points including a link to water dynamics within the wfp environment.
