Wanting to upgrade my WFP that I use for cleaning F&S & gutters.

I want to use my diesel heater to feed hot water to the brush head, will this handle very hot water (not boiling just very hot)

Also will hot water harm the brush head so should I also buy another one.

What heater you using Mike ?

I would say 60 degrees would be about top end before becoming to soft and also deforming the bristles of any brush your using

I use a small adapted diesel heated pressure washer. I have a  secondary bypass that put most of the pressure back into the supply tank so can go really low with the pressure but still get very hot water to the brush

During summer months i have had my water up to around 70-75 at the brush head with a gardiner stiff brush and hot water PU hose , worked fine but dont think you could go too much higher without problems.

Same....my water at the brush head in summer can get up to 65-75c which is great for add ons....

Any stiff bristle brush and PU hose should be fine

I would get the hose from Gardiner the orange or yellow takes very hot water when I recirculate back to tank it gets well above 65 degrees,the hose kinks but not as easily as the one in the picture.

interesting to see if you can keep the pressure low enough - I would have put the hot water into a tank then used wfp pump to deliver the water

I don’t have a WFP. Pump in the van, but I have the pressure washer set up for the clean anyhow so it’s easy to adjust the pressure. I  pre-wet  everything with the pressurewasher and a sniper jet,  I also use it also to rinse off.  if I could feed the WFP brush with hot water  it might help quicken the cleaning time

It’s just a medium sized Wap/Alto I bought second hand for £400, I think any medium sized machine would do the job
