I’ve looked into this also so I’ll add a quick question
What purpose does the pole spacer have?
Seen a diy video on YouTube just seems to have a washer at base of pole that’s about it?

The spacer at the top of the pole means that the male rectus doesn’t stick out the bottom this protects it from dirt if you stand the pole on the ground, and makes it easier the connect with the ejector sleeve.
It’s not essential.
I have no pole hose other than the short length fitted in the pole. I use a small piece of 1/2inch garden hose stretched over my female rectus to protect it as the ejector sleeve won’t work on microbore hose.

I make my own tubeless set up costs less than £5 per pole , I bought the  exceed set up and just replicated it  it’s easy to do . Takes about 10-15 muinits per pole  to set it up .

I have pole hose sticking out the pole by a few inches with a John guest push fit straight connector on it.

I then have around 10m of pole hose permanently attached to the minibore hose on the reel.

I simply connect the pole to the permanent pole hose on the reel and away I go.  Packing up is as simple as undoing the pole hose at the connector and reeling the hose back in as normal.

I’m the other way round. 30 mtr of mini bore connected to 100mtr of exceed pole hose. Not a diy set up as I need the rectus 21 to stop the flow each time I disconnect

they must have improved lately, as when I used one it took about 5 seconds for the flow to nearly stop and water would still dribble out the brush

Alank - I think you need to start up 12 threads showing how superior your invention is to everything else on the market, don't forget the video and wear a large hat with corks dangling down

Had that problem when there is too much pressure in the system. I found after a few days of messing around with calibration, plus the system just ‘sorting itself out’ it now stops almost immediately.

I reckon if you use microbore it’d be more of an issue with higher pressure in the hose.

The new link is good bit of kit, you can change flow, calibration and turn the pump on and off all from the fob. You can also turn the controller completely off as well. It’s pretty handy as means you can shove the controller anywhere in the van, rather than it being near the doors.

I also like that the pump never needs to engage the pressure switch, giving it longer life. The link just turns the pump off and on.

The app is a great feature as well, you can adjust all the pump settings from a 100m away on a job, rather than walking back to the van to mess around with the controller.

It’s all a bit gimicky, but to be fair I’ve defo enjoyed using it.
