Tonight’s weather.

Coldest night of the winter so far, in which case, if you haven’t take your RO’s indoors yet you probably ought to.

Plugged the heater in last night but someone decided to pull it out to plug the toaster in last night...

So vans absolutely frozen solid this morning.

My R.O has been running all night into my ibc which has prevented it freezing even though its outside with no insulation.

My r/o is in a wooden cupboard by the house. I have a 70w tube heater in with it.

Which is cosy.
It's a game of three halves!

I put the heater in last night and forgot to plug it in  :-\. Fortunately I'd covered the reel with a blanket and that didn't freeze. Pole hoses were frozen though, so I disconnected them and put them in the cab to defrost while I drove to work. On my last job I noticed a puddle under the van. Antifreeze is leaking out somewhere. So tomorrow it's booked in at a garage 🙄
We look at them, they look through them.

I’m assuming that’s too cold?

It amazes me the people that down tools at zero. We’ve not lost a day to weather in two years. One day lost to snow two years ago when I called it at 8 and it stopped snowing at 9.  ::)roll

I detect sarcasm. I'm guessing it's a degree or two higher in Bristol. Have you sacked it off?

Have we heck; who do you think I am, NWH?
We’ve not sacked in a day because of cold (yet), just slightly later starts.

-3 here at the moment, Soups has it slightly colder.

Minus 2 apparently here but working, apart from the odd house/window/conny thats iced up ive managed to work everday so far this winter apart from 2 heavy snow days. Its probably been the wettest/coldest winter i can remember yet not lost many days at all. Amazing what you can do when you just get on with it.

I left the heating on (low) all night and still got frost on the inside of my windows.

And yes, that is snow up to my window sill. Nearly two feet high!
