Hmmm...

Saying 99% of user don’t have an issue isn’t true.

What you could say is we haven’t had complaints off 99% of the users. If you actually asked them which they prefer and why, you would find out what those other 99% think

And also you’d need to ask the people who orders them previously and don’t buy off you anymore

You have a small
Sample of this forum where the question came up, and the feedback isn’t great

But it was only when uou scratched the surface that you saw the number of us on here that don’t like them

I don’t expect you to change them though as they work better for your business, and as long as that’s working out for you why change 🤷🏻

Like myself If people don’t like DD and WFP cleaning I’m happy for them to go elsewhere.

If you’re not bothered and the brushes are old just glue em in I swap brushes regularly so I haven’t had a problem with them I’ve got them on about 5-6 brushes some are looser than others when done up but I’ve never had one come out on me.

Hi Richard – to be more precise I could have said that less than 1% of our brush users have contacted us with issues 😊 Of course even with these few that have contacted us, most of them have had the problem resolved.

This product is working well for us overall and we have no plans to change – however we would like to help any that do have issues so that this can be resolved – ideally, we would like 100% happy users 😊

We believe that moving forward these issues will stop happening entirely as our new protective gooseneck design is rolled out – even a heavy-handed univalve operation will not be able to damage them.

It would be difficult to fully assess how many of our customers have gone elsewhere for brushes as we do not track customer’s repeat buying patterns – also brush preferences change over time in any case. From our perspective our brush sales have increased by over 65% since releasing the jet capsule system – perhaps our brushes were going to grow in popularity anyway – who knows?

Exactly. If you’re business is going great and these capsules work for you why would you change them?

That Makes Sense to me

I don’t like them and they are just a thing that goes wrong without any benefit for us, but your business needs to serve you so there you go.

There are customers of mine who would rather pay cash and rather we clean them with a squeegee. But I ain’t going to do that

As I said previously I remain a customer of yours and overall I find your poles and brushes, website and service to be easiest for me so I stick with you

Like I stick with apple at the moment despite their phones and service being slightly less good than it once was

Mr G, can I hijack the thread and ask why your brushes have less bristles these days? My favourite brush was the dual trim medium mixed. Loads of bristles etc. Now it's more like an extreme, hardly any bristles. Less bristles mean more scrubbing no? I don't mind a heavy brush if I know it's going to cover the glass in a pass or two. I have a Vikan which I use to clean my van and I love it.

Any chance of more bristles please?

The amount of bristles those brushes have don’t effect the cleaning efficiency of them but it effects the longevity of them.

Hi Bungle

Super-Lite Medium-Mixed - The only change in the last few years is that the new jet holes have been added and we had to lose 1 bristle bunch around these new shape holes. The weight of the brush has stayed virtually the same and we have not otherwise changed the bristle bunch size, placement or density. As it is our best-selling brush we would not want to change much about it at all.

Do you have an older brush available to compare? Feel free to email a photo across to me.

Wow do you really think that's Alex g?

Nigel being his alter ego......

Alex being a Dr Jekyll type - inventing and promoting wfp for the good of the masses...

Nigel the mr Hyde who blasts away, with condescending and witless posts trying to portray himself as superior and successful ?

Yes, I'll send you pics. The older brush I have has a more dense amount of  bristles. To me it looks like there's 50% less bristles on the newer brush.

We’ve had issues with em . Just today another broke . Hassle fixing it or replacing it . Over engineered crap . Love your response tho . Spend some more money with us to fix it . I bet no one ever complained about the brass ones .

I like how they sit into the brush compared to other manufacturer however they are easily damaged if hit directly onto the capsule. As has been said earlier one of mine is coming out at nearly quarter to 1 let alone 10 to 2  ;D ;D

I would estimate that across the six of us we've had around twenty five or thirty of these break before we found out about and bought the close-coupled assemblies. At a fiver a pair that's a chunk of financial damage.

We don't use valves. Instead the jet hose catches on something (twig, branch, door handle) and pulls the black centre out of the capsule. They aren't held in properly. The metal tangs holding the two elements together just bend and release under any pressure then they won't reassemble without leaking. The solution I've come up with finally is to buy replacement O rings (the originals tend to go missing as the jet is pulled apart) and to araldite the centre back into the grey surround.  Frankly they need a redesign as they simply aren't robust enough.

I normally flog my old brushes but they have all been cannibalised for spare parts after breakages so they are unsaleable.

The close-coupled hose assembly has resolved the problem mostly (though I still managed to pull one in two on a twig the other day) but it seems ridiculous to have to buy new equipment to fix a defective part.
