Anyone else using these and whats your experience with them?
They seem to fall apart quite easily so far as Im concerned. I've had two fail on me today, anyone else similar experience?
Hi Slacky
Generally they have proved to be reliable and robust for the majority of clients - we have about 50,000 sets in use currently with window cleaners.
Are you using a Univalve? If so you need to make sure that you have a protection clip fitted to the gooseneck hose, with enough spare hose pulled through as otherwise the pulling action of the Univalve will, with time, break the jet capsules.
If not using a Univalve then it could be that the jet hose has been getting caught in use and pulled or perhaps the extra strain from a swivel assembly - this can sometimes pull apart the jet capsules in a few cases.
If this is happening then the close-coupled jet assembly can be useful, although not essential. You can just buy the end stem elbows rather than the whole 'assembly' and use your current T connector and jet hose.
If you are using a swivel then the close-coupled assembly should still work well as the two are compatible
