If you are banging on about Gardiners, which I think you are , you should have paid for patent !
I did the same with Alex , those little rubber end bumpers were my baby ,
I sent a set to him and they sat in his desk for a couple of years , then one day he sent them off to tooling and the rest is history.
Did I get a mention, no but only because he forgot who sent them in !
Once I nicely jogged his memory , he soon sent me a little box of goodies and that was more than good enough for me
If you are banging on about Gardiners, which I think you are , you should have paid for patent !If knew could patented would of however. it was concept something that was out there for over 50 years or more.
Every person on this group would of seen it or even use it.
All we did was to adapted it to another application.
Which put up a video to show it know maybe some one would probable bring it out.
So Alex seen the potensal in it.
As you said the rest is history.
The thing is that Alex mightn't have seen the video at all.
Perry Taite was some what interested at that time in something like that .
Had shown the video to him first but he with with another another idea.
So that's when put the video up to the public.
Got to laugh if he went with it would you of bought it off him ( Just Saying.)
And put these videos up to help people to do there job easier mightn't be everyone idea of doing techniques or making tools.
All saying it would of been nice is if there some sort of recognition.
As most people believed that it was he's idea.
But anyway that's all water under the bridge.
