My question. Why do you need to have the di vessel on the van?

When there was 3 of us drawing water it would have meant adding a di vessel to each van.  And as my van has a twin operator setup it would mean I would need 2 vessels on board.

So when water is purified by the r/o it goes through di before storage in the ibc tank.
We have done it this way for around 15 years and has always worked well.

My r/o produces about 2lpm of pure water so the water going through my Di at home is probably being polished of at the same rate as yours is on your van.

This won't apply to you as you need to keep your van frost free due to your diesel heater. Years back there was a cleaner who had a couple of vans. One was used by his employee. It was in the van and froze during a cold patch.

Yeah I do that’s more than likely what’s killing the glue that holds the riser in place.
