Public freedom is my priority, not public health.

These lockdowns are insane. The fact we are so easily excepting them is beyond me.

If people want to isolate, go ahead, but those that want an open, free country should have that right.

And don’t go saying ‘your a Covid denier’ because I’m not. My wife is a manger at our local nhs hospital. I know how bad it is, I also know how skewed the death figures are.

There will be a disastrous ‘new world order’ following this. It’s very concerning seeing what the rich boys at Davos are chatting about. They are using this Covid hysteria to usher in more control.

We cannot keep locking down every time there is a spike. It is literally insane. We have to learn to live with it.

Lockdowns cause so much excess death, mental health issues, job losses, stress, missed education, obscene economic debt,  social issues and more. They are not the answer, we have to learn to live with it.

What are we going to do, lockdown everytime there is a need strain? It’s mental.

Thems my sentiments, and the same for many people I know.

If you love life, you love freedom, not control.

Can there be Public freedom without public health?

If people feel afraid of dying and would like it to be safe for them to move around freely, then they are not free if end lockdown

What you could be saying there is 'I believe in my public freedom'

If we got rid off speed limits, you could think it would make people more free, but not really, it would result in less freedom for those who want to feel safer the roads, but more freedom for people who like to speed.
There's a balance to be struck, that's how society works
A manager is generally someone who has been promoted to the position by someone else who didn't see them as a threat.
Hence all people are promoted to the level of their incompetence

And the balance is . Get the teachers jabbed up . Get the schools open . If you dont wanna send your kid dont . If you have health issues stop in . But everyone else should not be penalised .

I’m sure we’dbe doing that if it didn’t cause the hospitals to be overwhelmed. The thing is, if they are overwhelmed and some more worthy bloke in his 30s has a car crash and needs an ICU bed, there won’t be one for him. Or like me had a cardiac arrest in his 50s and spent 6 days in a coma in ICU just at the end of the first lockdown, there won’t be a bed because it’s full of Covid patients. I wouldn’t want to have one now.

Well if you pop it, at least you were prepared for it and comfortable with dying eh?

This is the way I see things is its like a final destination scenario, which Eva path i take in life if I'm meant to die this year its gonna happen wether it's covid ,asthma attack ,being in a car accident ect its gonna happen ,so I just carry on with a normal life nothing is gonna stop me doing what I want to do  🙂👍

Not sure I’d of wanted a cardiac arrest after the first lockdown either...in fact I can’t really think of a good time to have one  :-\

Maybe just before I have to see the in laws if I had to choose?

No, but nice to know there’s a bed to be looked after. This is the think people seem to struggle with. It’s not how many it kills, it’s how many it puts into hospital that’s the problem.

Joking aside JK999,  wish you a speedy recovery.  Bearing in mind how careful you say you've been any thoughts on how you may have caught it ?

If you have health issues stop in . But everyone else should not be penalised .

I agree with this, and to enforce it the Police should do roadside tests. If you test Positive for Covid off to jail for going out with it and potentially spreading it.

That’s why we have a lockdown.
