I am pro lock down, but I go to work and walk the dog.

I don’t get the hate towards walkers, it happened during the first lockdown too.

People have been actively encourage exercise, alone or with their support bubble, and have every right to do so.

If it’s inconvenient for you wanting to pass them on a country lane then that’s unfortunate but they’ve as much right as you to be there.
The real hate is towards runners. I’ve had to bite my tongue in numerous occasions whilst running.

Nobody really likes lockdown but that doesn't mean we get rid of it . It works and it's our only option, at the moment.
We have to learn to live with lockdown, not a highly contagious and dangerous virus, for the time being.
And if folk think that the relevant powers are going to skew the numbers just to scare us or to severely damage the economy we have to learn to live with them, too.
Unfortunately.

I don’t know why they’ve not told runners they can’t run in public areas where other people may be walking,we go for walks along our seafront and you get countless numpty heads running past you a couple feet away spitting and panting  if it happens again my foot will be sticking out.
If people want to run at the moment get out on the road and do it,the fools.

If they did it properly we could get on top of this pretty quickly. This lockdown is nothing like March and that wasn't done right either.

The vaccination roll out would be easier and more effective then too.
They're eeeting the dogs.
They're eeeting the cats.
They're eeeting the pets,
of the people who live there.

Yeah I was moaning about walkers but the runners are the ones who take the complete P**s coz there they are running panting breathing heavy and spitting everywhere,if you want to run do it away from members of the public just out for a bit of a walk running will ruin you’re knees anyway ask any runner that’s done it for most of their life they will tell you the same.

I had a problem with knees but I found once I moved from cold showers to hot ones all my problems went away.

Not only that deegee, but how utterly pathetic can people be.

If they are taking it all that seriously, they should be staying in 24/7 and on benefits so they don’t need to leave the house.

Pro lockdowners are so unbelievably sensitive and fearful, it’s beyond ridiculous.
What's a pro lockdowner?

Those that seem to love this ‘new normal’.

I hate lockdowns, and as you now know, I’ve got many reasons to be against them. They are causing so many issues.

My stance is, if people want to Sheild, let them, if not crack on. Get the nightingale hospitals open with the army’s help. At the moment there is no real light at the end of the tunnel, just locking down every time there is a winter spike isn’t going to work. Neither is locking down each time there is a ‘new variant’.

It’s going to be an endemic disease, we need to learn to live with it, and live with it normally.

We’vegot a vaccine though so soon we’ll be able to move on. Another 4 weeks according to the government all the over 70s and vulnerable done.

Yeah, but there's still nowt to do.
I could claim the latest grant and maybe the next one- or two- but I'd sooner work and have things back to as normal.
I think the restrictions outweigh getting paid for not having to go to work.
On that note, skivers, the cut off date for the latest grant is next Friday.
