pricing help?

hi all

i was asked today by a proprty management company to clean the communal areas once a week and the windows once a month , and carpet once a year.

the problem there are 200 flats ? soo alot of work ! how do i quote for the hallways .. is this done per sq mtr or per hour !

any suggestions will be much appreciated.

I always price on time and never price without seeing it first. Safe bet is go in high then you can always drop.

they have people doing it already but are not happy with there services!

so its trying to go in with a decent quote.

Hi Shawn,
                 Im currently doing similar work, you could try asking the manager what the others are charging. sometimes it works. you havent said what the floor surfaces are. if you need help give us a bell on 07751565050

i am having alook tomorow... as i couldnt get in there toay due to the trade button shutting the door at 11.00

i will have a look at it and ring you tomorow .. i would really like this job as its a bit of regular money.

All on one site? well even if you are wfp you could only get through 50 a day max thats 4 days of the week taken up.Or do you have people working for you?  i do plenty of flats but charge by the day not per unit.

hi all

been to have a look at it .. its the hall ways once a week the communal windows 1 a month. gutters once a year.

need a guide to pricing each hall way is about 35 sqm  including stairs..

and there 18 hallways like this.

How about £2 per flat per week. work it out how many flats in each entrance

10 flats = £20 + vat per week, per entrance

That was just a ruff idea, work out how long you think it will take you, then work out what you want for that amount of  time
