Gardiners no longer selling
« on: December 30, 2020, 04:39:09 pm »
Just noticed that Gardiner Poles are no longer selling Reel hose Microbore or Minibore.  I have been using Microbore 6mm ID 11.5mm OD.

Also they are no longer selling Tulsion Resin.

Can anyone recommend any other suppliers?

Some people have found it shrinks by up to 10% of its length I know a couple of people that have had this problem.

Is that the red braided hose they sell?  Will have to give it a go.  Looks decent.

No idear but pf know there is a problem with some of it as they have replaced quite a bit of it , after all it’s plastic and plastic does  shrink in certain circumstances

I have Microbore from window cleaning warehouse on my reel at the moment and have had flow problems in the colder weather unless running just hot, first thing in the morning if it’s so cold outside really hot water isn’t an option for the first couple of hours this hose really seems to contract restricting the flow shutting the pump on and off,hot water no problem it must be slightly narrower than the usual.

Sounds like your system needs tweaking.

My valves adjust from warm - piping hot.

I just turn mine down to minimum first thing if it’s frosty.

If you order today from Grippa you should get it before 2022.

And even then only half of the order will be correct. You’ll get a lovely long email full of excuses aswell.

Worst company I've ever had the misfortune to buy from.

You lot are too cynical  ;D

Spend 5k like “yo da man” and they treat you like royalty - telling you they are experts at everything hot - you’ll lap it up like a puppy dog  ;D ;D

unbelievable!...........fancy buying a hot system and not be able to use it on a freezing cold day..........i use mine on full power all year round no matter what the ambient temperature is.....

in fact you want your heater to be working at full power on cold frosty days because you lose so much heat from the hose when you have 100m off the reel on frosty ground....its only warm at the brush head anyway in very cold conditions which is ideal or you d be cracking glass left, right and centre! :o ;D
price higher/work harder!
