Thats a numpty before christmas.

In the past ive hired a van on 2 occasions, but i guess you have to weigh the cost of that up and how far behind you are.

Hire a van from Alexander Swan

Get it in a garage and get it fixed fast

my previous van(a 12 year old connect)broke down on the 5th jan just after going back to work after xmas  nearly 4 years ago now.....oil pump had gone and it seized the engine.....

i carried on for 4 or 5 weeks with a backpack, fold away trolley and 4 barrels in my car until my new van got delivered......not ideal but kept me ticking over......
price higher/work harder!

Friend of mine is a mechanic if it goes wrong he lets me bring it straight to him,I’m some cases he’s had it at 1-2 o’clock ordered the bits and fixed it by 6 someone that will look at it quickly and fix it  ASAP is a must especially as our toolbox is mounted to the vehicle.

If you get your van insurance from a-plan, they give you a add on option of having a fitted out van from pure freedom for 3 weeks if you have a accident, not breakdown though.
