The annual when are you finishing for Xmas thread...
« on: December 14, 2020, 07:00:49 pm »
Bang on track this year for pretty much a full 2 weeks off.

Have a half day of commercial to do on Monday 21st then off until Monday 4th January. (will have to do a few shops one morning between Xmas and new year but only a couple hours work)

What about you?

Had planned to finish Friday - too much work so we're in until Tuesday

Back on the 4th

You lot haven’t got enough work.  ;D

Either that or I’ve got too much. I’ll be working Christmas Eve and even then there will be a few days work I won’t have got round in December.

It’ll be there in January though I’m sure. Looking forward to some down time.

I’ve got plenty enough work 😀 I could happily work right upto Xmas and then work between Xmas and new year too. I’m choosing not to though. Bit of downtime and reacharge the batteries after the silly year we’ve had.

Off to stay at a 10 bedroom house near black rock sands in wales for 3 days(xmas eve, xmas day, boxing day)with 9 members of my family.....its cost my brother over £2k for 3 nights!

I always find that the time off over xmas always leaves a bit of time for reflection.....this includes making decisions to drop some jobs  and a sort out of my van,etc.....

Planned to finish on Monday lunchtime but just had a regular school book in a clean for the Tuesday, so Tuesday I’ll now be finishing.

I don't tend to have a lot of time off.  I'll be working up until the 22nd or possibly 23rd and then back on Monday the 28th.  Will just have the Friday off for that week (New Years Day).
