I was called by the police this morning.I was told to stop cleaning the windows of someone as they hadn't agreed to it.Funny how they had signed up for an 8 weekly service! Can't believe they didn't have the bottle to call me and cancel themselves. £45 lost as I cleaned it yesterday.

It is very odd for someone to call the Police over this but i also find it odd that you think they need "bottle" to call and cancel you.
I think you've been had - ring back the local nick and ask to speak to that officer - insist on an incident numberDarran

Because the police wouldn't JUST ring up - did you get the offers name and number ? when I started out I had a spat of 2 or 3 prank calls - a made up address, a non existent quote at a house and a "police call - regarding me canvassing" - when I asked for their ID the phone went dead...There are just some nasty people out there.. ( or kids thinking they are clever )Darran
