Guys I cant believe I never thought of this earlier, I attached an on off valve to the strap of the backpack and it works a treat encl pic

I used to have mine there, but now have my control device fixed permanately to the backpack at right hand hip height- level with the base of the pole. Found its "quicker off the draw" as it were.
