« on: November 18, 2020, 10:39:24 pm »
Just took delivery of this today, never seen anything similar, priced so competitivley. Had my previous Numax 85amp over 5 years. Lifting it just reminds me that the Duratec split charge relay i bought about two years ago i might actually need to fit now!!
Item number : 224085871239
I let you know if it holds charge and is any good.

One thing about batteries that give you a clue about how good they are is weight. The lead is the expensive bit so some manufacturers cut back on that to save themselves a few £££. So when looking at batteries go for the heaviest (same size and capacity) as a very rough guide to quality.
Be wary of companies that don't advertise the weight!!!

Some are down 5 years+ old - I haven't had to replace one yet.   Not as cheap as the OP find - but they are reliable

I saw that and decided that I wouldn't buy a battery with a name like that.

Numax seem to be out of stock everywhere. I ordered a Numax and was supplied a Lucas Supreme. Its a class 2 battery with a CCA rating so I hope its as good as the Numax has been.
