No idea where its come from, i would suspect probably the supermarket. Thats really the only place i come into contact with others.

Probably go there 2 or 3 times a week. Im definitely going to start limiting going to shops etc in future.

Feel a bit better now, just waiting for my dinner to be cooked and served to my isolation chamber in the spare room.  ;D

Garlic 🧄!!!

Chop 3 cloves garlic up , put it in a glass of water and a good squirt of honey. Give it a stir and down it 👍

Get well soon Stoots. My wife had it for definite on as she has had a positive antibody test and she had similar symptoms to you with the smell of burning/smoke too. She caught it early visiting our daughter who was at Uni in the East End of London on the weekend of 28th Feb/March 1st before the first lockdown.

She was 57 and had a few days before symptoms of a blinding headache, loss of smell and taste and a high temperature hit around 5th March. She was essentially better by about when the lockdown was announced around 22nd March.
Smell only just back to normal now.

Yes ive heard that the symptoms can linger on for months. Luckily most people get a mild to moderate dose but i reckon theres a lot more to come from this virus yet. Hoping that i will now have some immunity but i dont think thats been proven either.

Red wine thins your blood too. Personally I'd go with a Merlot!
Get well soon.

Shouldn't you be off work/isolating til Friday?

Nope 10 days from onset of symptoms, i was allowed out from this monday.

Funnily everyone else in my house had to isolate for 14 days so they arent allowed out yet.

Which sounds perfectly sensible to me.

Have you claimed your £500, Stoots?

I'm waiting for a test result for my Missus  :-\. Her work colleagues are dropping like flies.
I don't want two weeks off work.

Let me guess, she works in the public sector?

I hope she does at least get a pay rise. Sadly I expect porters and cleaners won’t.
