I live in wales , so have been in lock down for 2 weeks.
It has been a lot quieter here , but not like the first lock down.
but back then we didnt understand what was going on.

I can see us having another 2 week lock down again if in 2 weeks our numbers aren't down.
lots of us welsh want independence more so since the way boris has handled this ...

He's the best thing to happen to the SNP too.

By extension it’s the best thing to happen to us English too.

Good riddance.  ;D

It does now look s as though the lockdown was imposed on dodgy documents. Incompetent bunch of moddeds.

They never asked for a tax return when I  applied.........they took my word for my turnover......in fact they hardly asked anything.

They already know your turnover; that's what they based the grants on.

I was watching a film it’s called doom and gloom it’s about a family that locks its doors for a whole year and never comes out, sounds like a fate worse than death to me 🤣.

You didn't expect a film called 'Doom and Gloom' about a family that locks down for a whole year and never comes out to be a negative one?

That link above was about bounce back loans not the grants.

Meanwhile, handjob hands out another £350 mil to Randox, the same company who keep making an arse of the test, trace and isolate system.

You think they'd get it sorted so that people might be able to go The Grand National that they sponsor.

How would the bank know my turnover?

That’s my thoughts exactly.

ZERO checks were done. I know loads that have applied and got the full £50k (some on multiple businesses) on self certs that turnover nowhere near £200k.

Once the media got onto the fact that the first stage of government loans were almost impossible to obtain, and started heaping the pressure on the government, they made the bounce back loans far too easy to obtain.

There’s loads that have got these loans with no intention to pay them back.

They ll have to pay them back one day though.....most  window cleaners dont need bounce back loans as there is nothing  to bounce back from (luckily!)👍😊

Its business as usual for me.....
price higher/work harder!
