Boris: News Conference at 17:00

Looks like an England wide full lockdown for a month. Experts think we’re heading for 4,000 deaths a day unless we do something.  I’ll be working through this one unless I’m told to stop.
We look at them, they look through them.

Should be less traffic on the roads so hopefully we'll get more work done like in the first lock down 👍

With the furlough gone, I can see this being bad.

We were told that the SEISS was a one off though.
The IMF has said that the government could have done more for the people, so there maybe extensions. The IMF did also give some praise to the government.
It's only money  ;D.

Not yet, I don't think, and the conditions are 'narrower' than the other two. Decreased demand is what they are about, I believe.
The bounce back loan period has been extended to ten years too.

Surely government officials and politicians are classed as key workers? and shouldn't need to follow the same rules as civilians? if freedom to travel during lockdown is helpful for them then I think the Conservative party should all be exempt .
