Ex-ceed Protective Ejector Sleeves
« on: October 29, 2020, 06:10:27 pm »
Would anyone be interested in buying some tubeless protective ejector sleeves for tubeless?

https://ex-ceedinnovation.co.uk/shop/tubeless-upgrades/protective-ejector-sleeve/

Just had a ton 3D printed,  thought a tenner a pop was a bit much. Ex-ceed actually p me off a bit, great products but their margins are ridiculous. I'm mostly upset that I still need to pay £5.95 for postage for some bits of plastic even after I've spent a fortune with them. Free delivery over a certain amount would be a nice gesture

I was thinking of designing and 3d printing one for myself but not sure about selling them. DA components will have invested thousands in injection molds and having them manufactured. Let alone the time it has taken him to develop ideas into his products. £6 p&p with no free delivery over a certain value isn't great but at least he isn't adding on £ to every item to cover free delivery on certain amounts.
For a small business in a small market he is providing us products we need. So maybe best not to damage his business undercutting and maybe illegally coping stuff.
We don't like it when new windys undercut our pricing do we?

Ill buy atleast 10.  I love Steves products at Exceed, but the protector sleeves are way overpriced.  £10 for a piece of plastic, which thanks to heavy handed staff breaks almost once a month...  I keep a stock of 10 minimum at any time as they are always breaking.  Infact one broke this afternoon my worker phoned me broke last job of the day lol.

Did you ever make any of these, I could do with buying a few.

At the time this was posted, I had just ordered 3. Less than 2 weeks work 1 has just shattered.
Exceed seem to be experts at cutting costs, but it shows in the quality/longevity of the products

They have come in and I'm not happy enough with the quality of them to sell them.
They're quite brittle and are hard to get them undone once on
