If you want your pants pulled down there are quite a few ‘specialists’ who will gladly extract good money from you.....or if you prefer to keep the cost down you could try Aviva, MoreThan, Admiral, Gladiator etc, etc.

On the other hand some people don't want to take any chances so pay for the best cover. Especially when employing.

Also Aplan but always get check prices and see if they will price match. I save myself £200 doing just that last week.

I don’t know how you do that deegee I’ve said to A Plan that same thing and they’ve always come up with what the other insurers don’t offer on the policy which makes it not a price match as they offer a more comprehensive cover,I think mines bumped up a 100 odd quid for a replacement WFP vehicle if needed.

I just went on Van compare then had a decent conversation with the girl from Aplan. I think it helped that the quote from Van compare was also with another legit high street company. If it was with some no-name company, with non of the extras then yes it probably wouldn’t have been compatible.

Aplan reduced my cover from £780 to around £550 after just the one conversation.

I rang up a couple of "specialists" the other day and told them about the tank etc. For 2 of us insured the cheapest quote i could get was £1300 from Aplan.

I can insure both my vans for that via the likes of go compare etc.

These quotes throw up such a difference for some reason. ???

Both my 4 year old Vivaros are with Alexander Swan & each one is around £400 off the top of my head.

Tool cover is extra, as is the r&w courtesy vehicle.
