They seem relatively cheep on the used market. I know a couple on here have used older 1.3 diesels. What’s the max they can carry? Is there a model that would take a 650 tank?

I think some on them carry 1000kg!! They have a great payload for their size.

Doblo Maxi, it’s the LWB version and has a 1000kg payload

We have one, its had its fair share of electrical gremlins, kept going into limp mode and noone knew what was wrong then the dpf went which was expensive.  On balance as they're cheap its been OK

I've had two Fiat vans, Doblo and currently Scudo. Both these Fiats are the best vans I've had. Even though the Scudo is fundamentally the same van as my previous Dispatch, it just feels better. It feels more solid, quieter and better put together.

I know it’s not a Doblo , I had a scudo but I could never ever buy a fiat again.  Electrical problems nearly ruined me financially , I had to get rid of it losing £4 grand in the process
My advice Volkswagen or Ford

great vans as long as your happy to get the dpf drilled out and then remap it out  cost is  about 250ish  , then there great now any new van that drops out of warranty of ours  is automatic booked into remove the dpf what ever the make is  the amount of trouble these dpfs have caused us is insane

I thought mot testing can tell if your vehicle hasn't got a dpf

They drop the exhaust so you can not see the weld then remap
Also do Ad blue

and some cases theres no need to cut it out , ours are drilled out from the inside so it looks untouched

Still got the Hiace but got far too much work!

I sold some work a fair few years ago now as I had too much....it was a good move as it allowed me to get round on time,less dirt to clean off the windows and earlier finishes......also it allowed me to condense my work even more into one main area.....

I like working in different areas I can’t think of anything worse than parking up for hours reeling out and working non stop,I prefer to do bigger jobs spaced out.
