Sorry, WCP is Window Cleaner Professional. A piece of software that I wrote to help you manage and run your window cleaning business. You can download a free trial at our website www.windowcleanerpro.com.

Im adding updates all the time so let me know if there is anything that you would like included.

Thanks

when you bring out the palm version it would be very nice to only have to click the screen once when someone pays maybe a box on the screen that when you click it a cross appears to indicate payment or 2 boxes one for cleaned and one for payment.

hope this is possible

Hi Gary,

The first version for the handheld will run on a Pocket PC not a palm. Once we get this underway we will release the palm, mobile and blackberry versions.

The problem with having it all on one screen is the amount of information on a limited screen size. You will have the ability the record not only whether it was cleaned and whether payment was accepted but also how much was paid (i.e. record over payments), the payment method and the date. Fitting this all on one screen maybe quite difficult but Ill see what I can do  ;D

Cheers

Hi Gary,

Im sure you will find our software really easy to use, you simply enter your data, the system then gives you suggestions on the days work you print it off come back and enter the cleans. Simply by doing this you will automatically manage your debts and accounts  ;D

I have attached a sample worklist to show you what you can print out for the days work. It is really simple and allows you to tick a box to say 'Done', it tells you how much the customer owes (from this clean and any previous debts) and a box so that you can enter how much you collected.

I can walk you through the system if you need me to but I'm sure you will find it quite simple yet highly effective.

Cheers

Cool, Im developing it right now so if you have any ideas then please fell free to email me any suggestions (screen designs, functionality etc...)

The pocket pc version will only work along side the desktop version, i.e most of the data will be held in the desktop app and data syncronised between the two.

Cheers

good programme but 90 odd quid is a bit much. Yes I've seen your reply to this before about the price of the equipment, but its your tool of the trade, so to speak. Just cos someone spends 5000 on a wfp doesnt mean they can charge 50 pound a clean

Fair enough, you can't please everyone.

Dont forget this is a one off charge for life where as in your business the charge for a customer is on going. I'd love you to come and clean my windows for the rest of your business life for £90  ;D

i dont mind paying as long as it is exactly what i want, when you do the palm version please post on hear with maybe a months free trial the trial offer on the desktop version on my pc has run out so i cant try it anymore , i put it in as soon as you posted it was available but havent had the time to play with it properly and now i cant so maybe a months trial on the pda would be better.

quite true, it is a one off payment, but what about any upgrades, or ammendments that you make

Hi Steve,

They are all free for life  ;D

Plus I really want to grow the application along with the requirements of it's users, so if any features need adding I will try and add them as soon as possible. The best part about the application is that it automatically updates itself all the time so when I add new functionality everyone gets it without waiting for new versions to be released as in traditional software.

Thanks

Ian

P.S By the ways its only £55 until the 15th July  ;D

Hi Steve,

We were thinking of offering a longer demo but have seen previously with other software we have released that a shorter demo gets people into action. If you have a long demo then people tend to install and with the rush of everyday life they tend to leave and forget about it. With a shorter demo on a great ( ;D) product it creates a sense of urgency and gets users to actively use the software, with the biggest bonus that it quickens the learning curve.

If it would be useful to anyone then I certainly don't mind doing some 'Master Classes' that will show you the most effective way to use the software and some of the many features that you may or may not know about. Let me know if anyone is interested in doing something like this?

I am availabel most of the day on email and host live chats on www.windowcleanerpro.com if anyone wants to ask questions and get immediate response. My email is ian@windowcleanerpro.com

Thanks

Ian

All my rounds are loaded & back dated to 5th April,  :o, ive even loaded 90% of my expensis,  ;D.

So far im well impressed & would reccommend as a must. To come in from work grab a cold Stella, maintain my work, its easy.

I always hated Jan case i knew i had to do my books & get them in. Ive even sorted an accountant out,  :o. 5th of April he can have my accounts off WCP.

WFP, WCP, can it get any better.  ;D
