Got a new Axeon membrane for 4040, all seems to work okay but my tds is at 110, have fitted a pump it brings it down to 72, out of tap is around 250, anyone know what might cause this not to drop further, in the past i got to high teens, is there anyway the housing can be to blame, any ideas , i have flushed the system three time for hours, no difference, any ideas to try, cheers.

Is the membrane in the housing the right way up? Is it an HF5 or HF4? What is your water pressure from mains tap? Have you tried closing the water inlet valve down to allow the membrane to ‘work’?

Hf4, in the right way checked three times, the white ring bit is at the input end of where water comes in , I've adjusted the water between waste and pure lots of times trying all different levels, im going to order a new pressure gauge chucked old one out but with the pump on the pressure is good

You’ve bought an HF4... you know they are for high input pressure? What is your waste - pure ratio? I’ve got a feeling you’re sending most of your water to waste.
It seems odd that you were getting high teens before. That is high!
Have you flushed the membrane with it fully open for a good hour? You say you’ve flushed but was the waste valve fully open?
I’ve just bought an Axeon HF4 and it was producing 012 to start with. I flushed it again and now I’m getting between 006 and 007. My TDS is around 200 going in.
We need Spruce here.
