I don't know exactly what filters the Atom comes with, but you must always have a filter in.

Our vac has a foam filter for wet applications. I purchased a wet and dry filter separately for times when the gutter contents are dry. It can be washed clean with a hose. IMHO the foam filter isn't suitable for dry contents. If that was the only filter I have then I would either wait of a wet day or fill the gutters with water prior to clearing.

Most vacuum cleaners use the suction air to cool the vacuum's motor, so using it with a filter will destroy the motor for sure.

Hello Gaza

I decided  best to leave filter  In all the time.

I believe filter must be in when dry as dust will get into motor, small particles.

Wet slurry moss etc is wet and heavy.

Spinaclean have a lot of YouTube videos on the Atom and gvs have videos about filters too.

Had Atom couple of weeks only done parents so far 😀

In 1st minute of video “in general filter should be left in a the time”

I bought a spare filter and basket £40 I think
I’ve heard suction drops when filter starts getting soaked, probably slurry.

Basically hose off crap 💩 to solve
But thought good to have a spare 🤔

Good luck Gaza 👍

I take you’ve just got Atom and starting your gutter vac career?

I am 😁

There’s a Facebook forum for Atom users
I’ll think I’ll join.

I think there’s a link somewhere on the Spinaclean website 🤔
