I have arthritis so my body aches all of the time especially using heavy wfp.

I have been looking at the nano 18ft which is 790 g or the phantom 18ft which 980 g . Do you think 200g would make a big difference

We changed over to extreme poles a while ago and yes a couple of hundred grams does make a difference especially combined with the extra rigidity of the extreme.  Noticed the weight difference immediately but it took a while for the aches and pains to reduce.
Get electric reels if you don't have them already.
Removing all non essential lifting etc during the working day is a must.
Take breaks and don't do ball ache jobs all helps as well. 👍

I’d say if you only clean bungalows you won’t notice much of a difference. However, when working with it fully extended you’ll notice a significant difference.
I use Xtreme brushes and poles and can tell the difference between a wet brush and a dry one. Not that I work with a dry brush you understand   
I used to suffer RSI in my wrists a lot till I switched to this range of pole anjd brush. Now it’s a rare occurrence

 its been an absolute life changer,  i occasionally use an SLX25ft for the higher windows, that feels so dam heavy now.

xtreme poles all the way......they dont last as long as other heavier poles if used as  everyday poles,they need more tlc too(flushing out regularly and spraying with PTFE spray).....expect to replace a section or 2 after 12-18 months.....normally they are well worn after 2 or 3 years and need replacing but still worth it for the easier working days......

Thank you guys thinking about the nano pole due to I get one today , xline is only 40 min from me I do have a electric reel and that’s made a huge difference.

I don’t ever put the base of my pole on the ground if I’m working and I need to put it down I rest on top of a hedge or similar and when I go back to the van to reel in I put it on the roof of the van,this drastically reduces grit and dirt within the pole.

Having a tubless set up and not disconnecting and using a cloth when reeling in reduces lots of wear and tear by eliminating all dirt and grit.
Personally I only use extreme poles due to arthritis they are a godsend for my circumstances 👍

If you go on YouTube and watch the first video of squeaky clean Dave and Tradman he talks about how much of a difference the Ova pole has made a difference to these aches and pains due to its shape.

Hi Dazmond,    when i first got the Extreme pole, i had it only weeks, i was cleaning a first floor window, my mobile started
ringing, i left the pole leaning on the  window sill to take the call, a gust of wind blew it on to the ground and snapped
the top section,( Big Big learning curve)  i think it was nearly a 100 quid with postage to replace the section, i don't know how the
hell its lasted 4 years, but I'm very very careful with it, i never leave it leaning against a building, or try closing windows
with it,  after every job i finish, i quickly wipe the pole & pole hose with a damp microfibre cloth to get any crap or grit off before
driving to the next job, how long do your extreme poles last Daz ?

That's said I'll probably get another at some point they are great poles.

Extremes longevity is diabolical, I was snapping sections left right and centre when i had one.

Very heavy compared to slx or extream , I dont have one but have used a friends it’s not for me .
