Thanks E and M. Do you think as I’m rolling it on it’s necessary to have the full face gear? Would a normal face mask and gloves just do? I’ve seen some people on YouTube with just that. It’s more the ones that spray that have the full gear on. Cheers
Unless they've changed the make up it's isocyanate based which is nasty stuff.
Ideally, you want an air fed mask but there conventional, twin filter masks rated for 2k paint available on eBay.
You want to be wearing the mask as soon as you start mixing the product.
The vapour from the product can set inside your lungs which is very bad plus one or two have died from anaphylactic shock on contact - but that is pretty rare.
Proper spec mask and all will be well but make sure it is proper spec - don't scrimp on a cheap one as masks are cheaper than lungs.
I need to do the bed on my pick up and that will be with a conventional mask but of course it is outdoors as well.
