Windies helping disinfect public areas?
« on: July 26, 2020, 08:34:47 am »
The Federation of Window Cleaners  were suggesting this back in April.  And in the news this week is that the govt are looking at having all public areas regularly sprayed down with chlorinated water after seeing evidence (most notably from South Korea)  that this is highly effective in keeping Covid infection rates down.
I wonder if we will get the call up?

The likes of you and I being asked are virtually zero , they will be looking for large accredited firms not small one man bands or a company with a handful of vans , it will be the big firms that will get the contracts and as usual I expect the rate will be very poor money wise , not worth bothering with , I was talking to one of my customers who is dealing with this very thing for  my local council , as a start you need to be  chas registered or similar , be iso 90001 accredited, have company policies about lgbtq  ,religious and sexual orientation and equality and fairness policies, waist management policy’s ,thus is just the start ,carry on with the windows and dont worry about it there will be no money in it  that I guarantee, they will be paying  peanuts .

Correction - we'll be paying through the nose for the service - the guys who get the work will get peanuts - the middle men will make all the money

Pffft.

They gave a £108millon contract for PPE to a rat catching company less than half the size of mine.

No it doesn't, that's just lazy.

Boris is a proven liar. He's been sacked by a UK newspaper for telling fibs.

It was all fun and games when he was lying about busses and bananas, the floppy haired baffoon.

Not so much now though.
