I use Gardiner’s twist valve (gooseneck valve) and have to say it is fast becoming my favourite ‘tap’. I’ve even managed to make it work with a swivel adapter on the brush. I used to use Univalves up until I recently got myself a new pole and added it to the order to try out. It is more refined than the Mk1 version and works much better. I liked it immediately I tried it.
Interestingly, my daughter who has recently started doing some work with me found it much easier to use than the Univalve as well and ordered one for herself. She is also using it with a swivel adapter.
I will say, it is a little quirky with the swivel adapter and it is easier to use with a fixed adapter. But if you are a swivel user it can be made to work.
