That’s the killer once someone starts cleaning jobs like that for peanuts companies that own places like Nursing homes get them doing all their properties and before you know it they don’t expect to pay what they should be,I hold my hands up people can charge what they like and what they want but all I can say is charging some of those prices it’ll only get worse for everyone.

Id be in about  €300 . Tbh i understand everyone knows their own costs and prices differ due to this but i thought 125/130 very cheap for a job of that type.

I’m a fairly newbie but that has got £300 written all over it.

Good days graft with dinner money or give it to someone who speculates to  accumulate and as already stated ends out cleaning lots of nursing homes as a living.

I have a small good paying round and would like this as a good earner twice a year as a change.  If I had to price to keep I’m sure their are lots of one man bands or multi’s that can and will undercut.

It all depend how much you need it.

They get done for the sort of money mentioned because they are either bigger outfits or people that need the work, that job is never some of the prices quoted South of Watford gap.
If you ain’t cleaning it yourself and sending employees out who cares it’s turnover at the end of the day,as I say these people are killing our job cleaning properties like that at those prices.

Getting cleaned twice a year they going to be mucky  ;D All those trees around it with cars parking up to the windows which will probably be all parked there on the day of the clean. I would charge £300 for as long as it lasts.

Look on some websites with price lists 25-30 for 5 bed houses without even a viewing of it,it’s a numbers game and if you aren’t having any physical part in working you are more inclined to drive prices down just to get the numbers in why wouldn’t you when you ain’t got to clean it yourself. Four 5 bed houses needing to be cleaned for a 100 quid you would have to be on a swivel chair to be charging those prices 🤣🤣

Of course it is Rob ridiculous some of the quotes for that if I ever go and look at anything like that I always think to myself if I get it I get it,no jobs for life but jobs like that certainly aren’t you are lucky to keep them for 3 years and then they go out to tender again. You need to make as much money as you can on jobs like that they are easy come easy go,1 moody boss or caretaker and you are gone.

I know everyone needs a certain amount of work to survive. But since ive started doing this ive always said id rather sit at home 2 days a week than be out working for poor money. If a guy charges half what you charge he has to work twice as long to get the same money all within reason obviously. We all know some custies who if we paid them to clean their Windows they would still find some reason to complain about price .

We would want £250  for that 6 monthly clean is a one off not a regular job in my books , we do jobs like that on a  4 weekly  basis for £150 and 8 weekly for £180

A very regular clean is a bit different although I wouldn’t be  a huge amount under the longer period price, they couldn’t give a stuff about the window cleaners those jobs I’d say we clean in all weathers so don’t be surprised to see us in light rain. Clean it for 150 when we get sacked at the same time I would have got twice overall what you did, that’s the way to look at jobs like that sacked by email not given a second thought cynical but true.

I’d rather sit outside Marks and Spencer’s with a banjo singing when I was cleaning windows rather than bother for 125 notes to clean that ,peanuts 🥜
