Theres a lot of Window cleaners in my area that are overpriced with their work i hear it all the time where people say they are being charged to much or get charged full price for just doing fronts these are the guys i think will suffer from losing customers when cut backs are being made ,i have only had 1 customer put me on hold till he finds a new job but im not saying i wont lose any but as one guy said on here alot of my customers are retired so no excuse for them to cancel
Theres a couple on here I suspect will lose a few, you know the ones bragging what they earn.

i find this type of attitude makes me feel quite sad.

correct me if i'm wrong but it seems like you are almost hoping that people who you consider are charging 'too much' will get their comeuppence. or they will get what they deserve?

seems a shame that you would wish this on people. i dont know why you ever would.

It's pure jealousy mate.....I think I price fair for my work but I often find I'm 2 or 3 times more expensive than other window cleaners esp on larger properties.....on other smaller jobs  I can be cheaper but I'm cleaning lots of work very close together so still make it pay with a little splashing and dashing.... ;D
price higher/work harder!

I never charge full price for fronts only if I cant access the back of a property though.... ;D

Like I say my prices are fair I think...other window cleaners might find them too expensive or too cheap....some guys might spend twice as long on a property that I charge a similar price for....
price higher/work harder!

My belief is that generally the well off financially live in different areas to the less well off. Their houses generally tend to be bigger and more fancy with orangeries rather than conservatories.

In the North East we have a divide between 3 classes. Where we live the further east you go the lower the perception rate is of what a window clean costs as these people earn the minimum wage and the majority live in 'council houses.'  So we tend not to clean in those areas.
By far the majority of the work we do is in middle class areas where we can charge a little more.

Success is 1% inspiration, 98% perspiration and 2% attention to detail!

The older I get, the better I was ;)

People with money not all but many of them will pay a better price for a number of reasons, some of them are tight or can be but not all.
