Virtual landline
« on: July 16, 2020, 10:13:09 am »
Ive a virtual landline a few years and during the covid lockdown I felt i had paused the service,  well thats what I requested. Ive been on to the provider who now wants a Reconnection fee of 30 quid to turn it back on.  I know its small money but on a point of principal surely its not the best customer service . What you think? Maybe its a bit of previous as they charged me twice during lockdown and I was refunded after complaining that I ahd paused my service.

So you paused the service ie... stopped using it?

Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience

its like people who charge first clean price after you've missed some because its a deep clean

its business isn't it. you creating them extra work and so they need to charge you for that

i'd a bit disgruntled by it, but i'd just pay it and move on. its business

Why did you cancel it? What if someone wanted to contact you. I don't get it.

I use TAMAR £5 a month for an 0800 number and you get the first two hours of calls coming in free... If I'm on the phone for two hours a month talking to 'potentials' I will be more than happy to pay up!
WE CLEAN BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT WITH WATER FED POLE WHEN WORKING AT HEIGHT.
